Norms and Guidelines for Abstracts

GENERAL FORMATTING NORMS

- Times New Roman, size 11, simple spacing, upper and lower margin (2,5 cm), right and left margin (3cm).

TITLE

It should read on the first line of the page; bold, centered and uppercase.

AUTHORS’ NAMES

The information should read on the third line after the title; aligned right; last name in uppercase, followed by the initials of the institutions to which they are linked (in parenthesis). Their emails should be read on the following line.

TEXT BODY

-It should read on the third line after the authors’ names, with no images or charts.

-Wordcount between 300 (three hundred) and 400 (four hundred), justified alignment and a single paragraph.

-Do not include bibliography.

-In order to indicate a bibliographical reference in the text body, use (last name, year of publication).

 

KEY-WORDS

It should be included on the second line after the body text, bold. There must be three key-words, separated by semi-colons and ended with a period. Uppercase only for the first letter of each word.

FILE FORMAT

The abstracts must be saved under the extension .doc, on the page with header and foot available HERE, as metatext.

FILE NAME

The files containing the abstracts should be named according to the following instructions:

General abstract for presenting Research Group GROUPINITIALS_NameLASTNAMEGroup Initials + underline + coordinator’s name and last name with no spacing, with last name in uppercase LABOR_VaniceSARGENTINI
Individual abstract by Research Group’s member GROUPINITIALS_NameLASTNAMEGroup initials + underline + member’s name and last name with no spacing, with last name in uppercase. LIRE_ClassiraCONTI
